What is your cough?
The period of flu, colds and other viruses is in full swing, and in addition to rhinitis, their unpleasant symptoms include coughing. That's why we usually go to the pharmacy and ask for something "guaranteed" for coughing.
And then comes the question - and what is your cough? Dry cough is very unpleasant and painful because it is an irritating, debilitating and unproductive cough, which means that we do not cough up any mucus, but the throat is constantly irritated and we feel a stabbing pain in it. Moist or bronchial cough is characterized mainly by mucus, which we cough up during it. Long-term cough (weeks to months) is considered chronic and must be assessed and treated by a doctor. Also, see a doctor immediately if you have a cough that is associated with other problems such as fever, joint, muscle, chest, headache or shortness of breath. As for the cough in young children, it should also be evaluated by a pediatrician first.
