The main drug is iodinated povidone. This substance releases iodine on contact with the skin and mucous membranes, which destroys a wide range of pathogens (bacteria, fungi, some viruses). The drug is therefore suitable for disinfecting the oral cavity and pharynx. The medicine also contains allantoin, which has anti-inflammatory effects.

It is used to disinfect the oral cavity and pharynx in inflammatory and infectious diseases - sore throat, inflammation of the pharynx and / or tonsils, inflammation of the tongue and aphthae, at the first signs of flu (scratching in the throat), before airway surgery and postoperative care, for the treatment of infections in the oral cavity in patients treated with cytostatics. It is also used for streptococcal angina as an adjunctive therapy to concomitant antibiotic therapy.
