The shampoo is used to treat skin infections caused by microscopic fungi. The shampoo can treat both the hairy part of the head and larger areas on the chest or face.
It is used for various skin infections that you may recognize as:
- scales on the head (dandruff)
- reddish-brown spots with yellow or white peeling scales usually on the face or chest (seborrheic dermatitis)
- small, brown or white irregular patches on the carcass (pityriasis versicolor).
The medicine can treat or prevent these infections.
