OLYNTH® HA 0,05% nasal solution spray

The medicine contains xylometazolinium chloride, which causes the blood vessels to constrict at the site of action, reducing the swelling of the nasal mucosa and subsequently facilitating nasal breathing and improving the release of mucus. Hyaluronic acid in the form of the sodium salt, glycerol and sorbitol have a moisturizing effect.

The drug is intended to alleviate swelling of the nasal mucosa in:

• acute rhinitis,
• excessive mucus production caused by vasomotor rhinitis,
• allergic rhinitis.

How to get rid of rhinitis? Olynth nasal spray^® HA for children from 2 to 6 years of age quickly and gently releases a stuffy nose and moisturizes the nasal mucosa. The spray produces a gentle aerosol that does not irritate the nasal mucosa and does not cause children unpleasant burning sensations in the nose. Preservatives in nasal sprays? Choose wisely!

Some preservatives used in nasal preparations may have a negative effect on the nasal mucosa.^{1, 2} Preservatives in nasal sprays should protect the medicine from contamination by microorganisms after opening, either by destroying them or preventing them from growing. Some preservatives used in nasal preparations, such as BZC (benzalkonium chloride), can have a negative effect on the nasal mucosa:

Dosage

Olynth medicine^® HA 0,05% is applied as needed, but a maximum of 3 doses per day to each nostril.

Warning

Olynthus^® HA 0,05% should not be used for more than 7 days unless otherwise directed by the physician. The drug can be repeated only after a few days of treatment interruption.
