HYPROMELOSE-P

Ocular solution instillation - a preparation with a protective epithelializing, disinfecting and moisturizing effect containing hypromellose (5 mg in 1 ml of solution). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (hypromellose) forms a temporary protective film on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva, thus moisturizing the outer surface of the eye and serving as a replacement for insufficient tear formation. Dexpanthenol (a B vitamin) contributes to the accelerated renewal of cells on the surface of the cornea (epithelialization).

The solution is used in various conditions requiring a protective film on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva. In dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), for example in Sjogren's syndrome, in small corneal scratches, after small bodies have fallen into the conjunctival sac or after eye surgery. Provides relief from mild eye irritation that is not of infectious origin. Eliminates the feeling of "dryness" of the eyes. It also helps to relieve discomfort (tingling, burning) accompanied by mild eye irritation from wind, dust, cigarette smoke, polluted air, contact lenses, etc. To relieve eye fatigue caused by prolonged reading, driving, watching TV or computer monitor. It can be used by adults, adolescents and children. The product must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the individual components and when wearing soft contact lenses at the same time.
