How to stop smoking Nicorette® Spray 1 mg / dose?

If you don't know how, the following diagram will help you. However, we always strongly recommend that you study the written information for the user first.

Step 1: Weeks 1-6

Use Nicorette® spray as soon as you feel like a cigarette. Inject the spray once and if the craving for the cigarette does not subside, inject the second dose. We usually recommend taking 1-2 doses every 30 minutes to 1 hour. During step 1, try to write down how many doses you take on average per day. The first week of quitting is usually the hardest, but if you persevere, you have up to 9 times more chance to quit smoking once and for all. ³

Step 2: Weeks 7-9

During the 7th to 9th week, they start to reduce the number of doses (injections) per day. It is advisable to take it until the end of the 9th week only half the number of doses per day compared to step 1. If, according to our advice, you wrote down the number of doses you are taking in step 1, you need to get to half that number at the end of week 9.

Step 3 Weeks 10-12

It's here - you're successfully approaching life without cigarettes! Now continue to reduce the number of doses so that you take a maximum of 12 doses per day in week 4 of weaning. If you manage to reduce the number of doses to 2-4 per day, stop using the oral spray completely. Congratulations, you did it - you can finally take a deep breath!

One dose (injection) delivers 1 mg of nicotine in 0,07 ml of solution. 1 ml of solution contains 13,6 mg of nicotine.
