ELMEX GEL

The drug contains a mixture of amine fluorides (olaflur, dectaflur) and sodium fluoride, which has a protective effect against tooth decay. It increases the resistance of tooth enamel to acids, inhibits the breakdown of sugars by microorganisms that form acids in dental plaque, and promotes the remineralization of incipient tooth decay.

It is used in adults and children over 6 years of age (who have a controlled swallowing reflex) to:

• prevention of dental caries (especially in children and adolescents, as well as in patients with braces, other orthodontic appliances and partial dentures,.
• supportive treatment of incipient caries lesions (tooth decay),
• treatment of sensitive tooth necks.
