The medicine is an antifungal (a medicine used to treat skin diseases - mycoses). Clotrimazole is an active substance against susceptible pathogens. In the form of a cream, it is suitable for topical antifungal treatment. The drug is intended for the treatment of fungal skin diseases (mycosis tinea), such as e.g. pityriasis versicolor, dermatophytosis, candidiasis, external genital candidiasis (balanitis and vulvitis), keratomycosis (fungal corneal disease), interdigital mycoses (interdigital mycoses), fungal diseases of the nail bed (paronychia) and red-eyed red erythrasmas with a creased scaly surface, located mainly on the inner surfaces of the thighs).
