It contains drugs which, due to their strong neutralizing effect on hydrochloric acid, which is responsible for the acidity of the stomach contents, reduce this acidity. The drug is intended for heartburn and when the acidic stomach contents penetrate back into the esophagus (gastroesophageal reflux).
