GAVISCON Duo Effect Chewable Tablets 24 Tablets

The chewable tablets contain a combination of two antacids (calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate) and alginate and work in two ways:

• neutralizes excessive amounts of stomach acid, thus relieving pain and indigestion;
• creates a protective layer on the surface of the stomach contents, thus relieving burning pain in the chest.

It is used to treat gastric acid-related symptoms in gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, such as vomiting of acid into the esophagus and oral cavity, heartburn and indigestion, which can occur, for example, after a meal or during pregnancy.
