REGULAX picosulfate

The medicine contains the drug disodium picosulphate, which is a topical laxative. In the large intestine, it prevents the absorption of water and increases the excretion of water into the intestinal contents, which leads to a softening of the stool consistency and an increase in stool volume.

It is used for short periods in constipation and diseases where it is desirable to facilitate bowel movements. Like other laxatives, it should not be used daily or for extended periods of time without a medical examination of the cause of constipation.  More at adcc.sk
