Ialugen Plus

It contains two medicines, sodium hyaluronate (ie sodium hyaluronic acid) and silver sulfadiazine. The silver salt of sulfadiazine acts against bacteria and fungi, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter pyogenes, which are most commonly found in infectious wounds and burns. They belong to a group of drugs containing antibiotics that are used in some skin diseases.

The medicine is intended for the protection and local treatment of injuries, varicose veins and burns. The interaction of these two drugs results in protection against secondary infections, anti-inflammatory effect and acceleration of the healing process (supports the formation of new tissue in the healing wound and covering the wound with so-called epithelial tissue).
