HiPP ORS 200 Apple decoction

It enables the treatment of diarrhea in a natural way. The loss of fluids and minerals associated with diarrhea is immediately compensated and the intake of food is resumed in time. This prevents dehydration of the body and blood circulation problems. Thanks to the combination of apples and minerals in HiPP ORS 200, easily digestible nutrients can be added at the beginning of treatment. The mucous membrane can thus recover quickly. Important Notice: In infants and young children, even mild diarrhea can lead to serious illnesses. Therefore, always inform your pediatrician about diarrhea. In case of persistent vomiting or if after max. 8 hours after administration of HiPP ORS 200 diarrhea does not subside, the doctor must be informed again! In exclusively breastfed infants and infants at increased risk of allergy, HiPP ORS 200 should only be given after apples or other baby foods have been given previously. Osmolarity: 80 mOsmol/l. Dosage and method of use: - Use only under medical supervision. Unless otherwise recommended by the doctor, administer only HiPP ORS 240 during the first 3-4 hours. - For mild diarrhoea: 200-20 ml/kg of body weight (weight loss 30% of weight). - For moderately severe diarrhea: 3-30 ml/kg body weight. (weight loss 80-3% b.w.). - After successful rehydration, food intake can be resumed immediately. Additional fluid losses caused by vomiting or diarrhea must be compensated with an additional 8-50 ml of ORS 100 during each period of watery stool or vomiting (preferably spoonfuls and at short intervals, eg: every 200-5 min.). Store at room temperature. Shake before use. Serve chilled.
