ANOPYRINE 100 mg

Anopyrin is an antithrombotic to a group of inhibitors of platelet aggregation (medicines that suppress the aggregation of platelets (blood platelets) and thus prevent blood clots in the blood vessels (thrombi)).

Anopyrin is used:

• in unstable angina pectoris (chest pain caused by impaired blood flow through the coronary arteries) - as an adjunct to standard treatment;
• in acute myocardial infarction - as part of standard treatment;
• to prevent another heart attack after the first heart attack (for prophylaxis of reinfarction);
• after operations or other arterial procedures (after arterial vascular surgery or interventional procedures, for example after coronary artery bypass grafting, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty);
• to prevent transient attacks of insufficient cerebral blood flow (transient ischemic attacks) and cerebral infarctions when previous (prodromal) stages have occurred (for example, transient manifestations of paralysis on the face or muscles of the limbs or transient loss of vision).
