BRYONIA

MUCKS:

• Rhinitis with dry mucous membranes and severe thirst.
• Tracheitis or bronchitis during the ripening period of vegetables and fruits, when the patient develops a dry and painful cough aggravated by the slightest movement or when entering a warm room, associated with retrosternal or thoracic pain improved by clenching the chest with his hands.

• Constipation with bulky hard dry stools as if "burnt".

SEROS:

• Pleuritis, serofibrinous pleuritis in the initial stage
• Pericarditis.
• Joint pain in all locations as long as it worsens with movement and improves with rest.
• Hydrarthrosis, acute rheumatoid arthritis with progressive onset showing drug modalities.
• Peritoneal irritation caused by e.g. cholecystitis, ovarian inflammation or ovarian cyst (as an adjuvant to conventional therapy, except for surgical indications).
• Mumps meningitis, lymphocytic meningitis, influenza conditions with cerebromeningeal irritation.

ADYNAMIC FEBRILE SYNDROMES:

• Influenza, influenza conditions. Infectious diseases of any etiology.

OTHER INDICATIONS:

• Mastitis with heavy breasts, painful with the slightest movement.

CHARACTERISTICS - FEELINGS: Feeling of acute, prickly, shooting pain, located in fixed points; feeling intense thirst with the desire to drink plenty of cold water; dryness of the mucous membranes (mouth, nose); pain of the right hypochondria with nausea.

MODALITIES: Deterioration by movement or slightest touch; heat (except local pain); in the evening around 21 p.m. Improvement by rest; under strong pressure or lying on the painful side; sweating; cold (except local pain).

ACCOMPANYING CHARACTERISTICS: Sweating that relieves.
