VERATRUM ALBUM

• Choleriform diarrhea characterized by bulky stools, rapid dehydration, intense colds, a tendency to collapse and convulsive abdominal pain. This syndrome may occur with food poisoning, infant toxicosis, cholera.

• Dysmenorrhoea, hypermenorrhoea accompanied by cold, vomiting, profuse diarrhea and cold sweating.

• Spasmophilia: episodes with convulsions and spasms.

• Some conditions of delirium (dysmenorrhea, puberty, six weeks of age).

• Constipation that accompanies vagotonic syndrome (profuse cold sweat on the forehead) in an effort to defecate.
