Panadol contains paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic. Panadol does not irritate the stomach and is easily given to children. Paracetamol is rapidly absorbed after administration, the effect appears within 30 minutes, peaks approximately 2 hours after administration and resolves within 4 hours.

Panadol is indicated for the reduction of fever and pain associated with influenza, colds, infectious diseases of childhood (eg measles, rubella, smallpox, scarlet fever, mumps) and vaccinations.

The drug is also suitable for relieving the pain accompanying tooth cutting and for toothache.

Panadol is suitable for children from 3 months to 12 years.
To reduce fever after vaccination, it can be given to children from 2 months of age.
