SeptoZINC

Sterile, isotonic, rinsing solution with the addition of antiseptic and synergistic additives (zinc gluconate and benzalkonium chloride). It is intended for eye drops and eye washes in the prevention and supportive treatment of eye infections.
Suitable for children from 1 year, adolescents and adults. 

• Zinc gluconate and benzalkonium chloride act as disinfectants (antibacterial and antiviral) in the eye.
• Zinc in the form of gluconate creates a protective layer on the surface of the conjunctival mucosa, under which cell regeneration can take place, which contributes to the restoration of the physiological state in the conjunctival sac of the eye.
• The antiseptic properties of benzalkonium chloride are based on its surface-active properties (wetting, dispersing and emulsifying). Thanks to them, dirt is washed away from the surface of the eye, including microorganisms.
• The antiseptic properties of benzalkonium chloride are further based on its own antibacterial and antiviral activity.
