Compared to regular cotton diapers, XKKO Organic Staré čásy BIO cotton diapers weigh more than 45% more. They continue the tradition of high-quality opaque cotton diapers from more than 30 years ago. Added value is also natural, pure organic cotton grown without the use of chemicals.

BIO cotton with certificate.

BIO cotton with the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certificate is grown without the use of chemical sprays using natural laws. Natural biodiversity, crop rotation and compost fertilization keep the soil healthy and full of nutrients. Instead of chemical preparations, weeding is prevented by simple spitting and hoeing, mulching, more efficient irrigation, growing several types of plants together. Natural insecticides are used and different practices (e.g. planting certain crops) encourage the occurrence of natural enemies of pests. The collection of flowers is often done by hand or in a more gentle way and without the use of chemical substances to defoliate the plants.
