Built-in Fever InSight® system.
The Vicks Forehead Thermometer measures infrared energy emitted by the skin above the eyebrow and surrounding tissue. This energy is collected by the lens and converted into a temperature value. The temperature measurement is obtained by scanning over the eyebrow area in order to achieve the greatest accuracy.
Three colors displayed for ease of temperature interpretation.
Green - normal temperature;
Yellow fever;
Red - high fever.
The Vicks thermometer has a handy silent mode.
This option allows you to take the temperature without sound, for example at night when the patient is sleeping or when we don't want to wake up the child.
Fast measurement in 2 seconds.
Simple, intuitive operation and fast measurement facilitate continuous temperature control. Just aim the thermometer in the middle of the forehead between the eyebrows and after 2 seconds you will see the result.
Accurate and reliable.
The device offers clinically proven accuracy (+/- 0,2°C) from 35°C to 43°C. Temperature measurement is reliable thanks to the unique probe assembly, advanced infrared sensor and complete calibration process.

Additional functions.
The Vicks forehead thermometer has an automatic shut-off function 20 seconds after the last measurement, which extends battery life. The Vicks thermometer comes with 2 AAA batteries, which are enough to take at least 1 readings. When the flashing battery symbol appears on the LCD, replace them with 000 new AAA batteries. The batteries can be easily replaced by sliding the battery cover and replacing the batteries according to the label.
