Medicinal product containing magnesium in the form of magnesium lactate dihydrate (magnesii lactas dihydricus), which is used to prevent and treat reduced levels of magnesium in the body (hypomagnesaemia). Is used:

- in the prevention and treatment of magnesium deficiency accompanying other diseases 
- in case of insufficient intake or increased need for magnesium during pregnancy, lactation, puberty, recovery and after surgery, special eating habits, excessive physical and mental stress, stress or increased loss of magnesium (eg vomiting, diarrhea ).
- in the case of magnesium deficiency with concomitant calcium deficiency
- for mild sleep disorders and depression 
- in skeletal muscle cramps 
- in case of transient magnesium deficiency during concomitant long-term treatment with certain drugs 
- as adjunctive therapy in the concomitant treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system such as high blood pressure (hypertension), heart failure, hardening and blockage of blood vessels (atherosclerosis) and other vascular disorders, sudden stroke, heart rhythm disorders. Magnesium reduces the side effects of high doses of cardiac glycosides (medicines used to treat heart disease).

Dosage is individual, but is usually as follows, unless your doctor tells you otherwise: Adults take 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. For the prophylactic treatment of migraine, they take 2 tablets 3-4 times a day. For adjunctive therapy of heart failure, they take 2 tablets 2-4 times a day.
