How not to make mistakes when measuring temperature?
The temperature measurement should only be started when the device has been kept at the same temperature at which the measurement will be performed for 30 minutes. Otherwise, the temperature difference may affect the measurement result. Before measuring, make sure there is no sweat, cosmetics or greasy stains on the patient's forehead. Make sure the thermometer sensor is clean before use. During the measurement, the patient's face must not point directly to the sun, air conditioning or heating - this will affect the measurement result. Measure the temperature in a room that is as constant as possible. The patient should not perform intense physical activity, bathe or eat 30 minutes before the measurement.
Detailed temperature measurement:
1. Aim the thermometer sensor at the center of the patient's forehead. Bring the thermometer closer to the forehead, no more than 15 cm - so as not to touch the forehead.
2. Press the ON button. The thermometer will test its functions, measure the temperature, and the measurement result will be displayed on the LCD screen within 2 seconds.
3. The result will be highlighted in one of three colors:
