Lena Lighting Sterilon 108W RCR UV-C, Germicidal emitter with wireless motion sensor

Proceed with caution when using.
Simply point the UV light directly at the surface for a certain amount of time to effectively kill microbes. The radiation is so strong that it also has a harmful effect on human skin and eyes. Therefore, when using UVC lamps for disinfection, basic safety precautions must be observed, i.e. do not stay within the range of the light beam.
The radiators with a power of 108W will disinfect an area of up to 35m2.
It is recommended for use in medical facilities, grocery stores, public and private transport, petrol stations, courier companies, public administration and school and educational establishments, as well as for use in your home or car.

It helps to remove harmful microorganisms.
The UV-C STERILON emitter helps to eliminate viruses, fungi and bacteria that cause diseases. UV-C light degrades the DNA and RNA code found in the cells of living organisms.
Light disinfection has been used for years.
The effectiveness of UV-C light disinfection is widely known and has been used for years. This is confirmed by the document ISBN 978 3 901906 25 1 published by The International Commission on Illumination (CIE).
Disinfection efficiency.
The effectiveness of disinfection is demonstrated by CIE and other research units based on the energy dose required to remove 90% of microorganisms from the surface. For most bacteria and viruses known to us, the required dose does not exceed 8 mJ / cm2. This means that a light bulb emitting 1 W of UV-C radiation at a distance of 1 m from a given surface takes 90 seconds or about 800 minutes to disinfect to 13%.
Radiation emitted by UV-C STERILON at a distance of 1 m from the lamp:
-0,6 W UV-C radiation (UV-C STERILON 36W)
-1,44 W UV-C radiation (UV-C STERILON 72W)
-2,16 W of UV-C radiation (UV-C STERILON 109W).
The closer the disinfected surface, the more effective the disinfection.
The efficiency of UV-C radiation decreases inversely with the square of the distance from the light source. Therefore, the closer the light source is to the disinfected surface, the higher the efficiency. The approximate time for surface disinfection with STERILON UV-C emitters is 15 minutes. However, this time may differ from the above, as it depends on the power of the lamp used and the distance of the disinfected surface from the light source. This time also depends on the ambient temperature and air humidity.
Effectiveness of SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus Covid 19) disinfection.
There are no published official studies confirming the amount of energy needed to neutralize the virus that causes COVID-19. However, its structure is compared to the "Hepatitis A Virus" more resistant to UV-C rays, for which the dose is less than 7 mJ / cm2. Based on this, it is estimated that the dose required to neutralize the coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19 is approximately 4 mJ/cm2. This means that an emitter emitting 1 W of UV-C radiation at a distance of 1 m from the surface takes 90 seconds or about 400 minutes to disinfect in a 7% presence of the virus.
Exposure method.
Adjust the light to shine on the disinfected surface.
The UV-C light source should be placed as close as possible to the disinfected surface so that the UV-C rays cover it as much as possible.
Objects placed in the shade that cannot be accessed with UV-C rays will not be disinfected.
Do not be indoors after switching on the bulb.
Wear safety goggles and long-sleeved clothing and gloves when turning on and off.
Approximate exposure time is 15 minutes.
Very long exposure to a UV-C emitter can degrade some elements in its range, such as plastics.
After using the UV-C radiator, it is recommended to ventilate the room (this applies to the first 100 hours of operation of the radiator).
Safety of use.
UV-C light emitted by the emitter is highly harmful to humans and other living organisms, damaging vision, skin and DNA of cells. After switching on the lamp, people or animals should not be in direct reach of UV-C rays. The time we are in the range of UV-C rays should be minimized as much as possible.
How to behave when a light bulb is damaged.
Damage to the radiator will not have an adverse effect on your health if basic precautions are followed. In case of broken fluorescent lamps, ventilate the room for 30 minutes and remove the damaged parts, preferably wearing gloves. Place them in a sealed plastic bag and take them to your local waste disposal facility for recycling. Do not use a vacuum cleaner to remove damaged parts.
Germicidal UV-C emitters.
They are used for air disinfection in hospitals (especially infectious disease departments), laboratories and clinics. Ultraviolet radiation effectively removes viruses, bacteria, molds and other microorganisms harmful to the human body from the surface. We offer germicidal emitters adapted for mounting on a tripod. Thanks to the use of direct action, they ensure proper disinfection of the surface (up to 35 m2). We produce high-quality lighting that combines energy-saving technology and high efficiency. Lena Lighting's direct-acting virucidal illuminator is an excellent choice that ensures the safety of patients, staff and other users of public spaces.
Germicidal emitters from a Polish manufacturer.
Lena Lighting is a Polish lighting manufacturer that specializes in creating new technological solutions.
Indispensable in hospitals and other facilities.
The germicidal UV-C irradiator is an indispensable element of equipment in hospitals and other medical facilities.
Why? Due to the nature of the work, health centers are exposed to an increased amount of harmful bacteria and viruses. According to statistics, almost 2 million patients who are hospitalized are infected annually in the USA.
Germicidal emitters are professional protection against infection.
This is especially true during an epidemiological threat. UV-C radiation with extremely strong virucidal properties is responsible for the effectiveness of the emitters. High durability, certificate confirming class I protection, time of complex disinfection 2 hours, use of high-quality materials.
Direct acting germicidal radiators - why is it worth it? The Lena Lighting UV-C germicidal emitter is highly effective because the radiation is directed directly at the disinfected surface. This solution will work wherever there are large groups of people - in shops, offices, schools or courier companies. Regular use of the virucidal emitter ensures the sterility of the room and the safety of the people staying in it. This is important, especially in the case of an epidemic that requires special preventive measures (for example, in March 2020, the WHO announced the coronavirus pandemic). Order an ultraviolet bactericidal emitter from the Polish lighting manufacturer Lena Lighting and thus protect your health and the health of other people.
