How to use the nebulizer?
Sit comfortably upright.
If you use a mask - (large or children's), make sure it fits snugly against the face. There are holes in the mask that let air out when you exhale. Breathe freely and take a short pause at the end of the breath.
If you use a mouthpiece - it should be lightly between the teeth and firmly pressed against the mouth. Breathe through your mouth.
If you use a nasal cannula - carefully insert it into your nostrils. Do not push it further into your nose. Breathe through your nose.
Nebulization is complete when the drug is intermittently released from the nebulizer (bubbling in the container or spraying).
After completing nebulization, thoroughly wash and disinfect the accessories.
