Simple application.
The one-sided adhesive layer facilitates the application of the bandage, which firmly adheres to the skin surrounding the wound, thus minimizing the risk of maceration.
The bandage consists of:
-Safetac contact layer
-transparent, flexible, thin and perforated polyurethane film
Safetac technology.
It is a unique, patented adhesion technology that minimizes pain and trauma during dressing changes and prevents the spread of exudate.
Indications and methods of application.
The Mepitel One bandage with Safetac technology protects the wound area and the surrounding skin. It prevents the dressing from sticking to the base of the wound, thus minimizing pain and injury status. It is intended for the treatment of a wide range of wounds such as skin tears and abrasions, surgical incisions, 2nd degree burns, blisters, lacerations, partial and full thickness skin grafts, diabetic ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers. The cover should be used together with Mesorb® or Mextra® Superabsorbent pads (in the case of heavily secreting wounds) and also with Tubifast® dressing fixation
14 days of uninterrupted economic treatment.
The dressing can be left on the wound for up to 14 days to prevent damage to the wound or damage to the newly healed tissue. It stays in place and doesn't dry out, which could cause injury and pain. The transparency of the bandage makes it possible to assess the progress of the treatment at any time.
