The orthosis supports the treatment and rehabilitation process for injuries, diseases and dysfunctions of the hip joint by ensuring range of motion control and compression of soft tissues in the hip joint area. The Qmed orthosis is also used for postoperative hip compression after anastomosis of intertrochanteric fractures, postoperative hip compression after intertrochanteric osteotomies and endoprosthetics, hip joint overload changes, hip joint degenerative changes, hip pain syndromes of various etiologies.

• the orthosis consists of an elastic band covering the hips and a thigh band made of polyamide and lycra knit, finished with Velcro,
• between the straps is a lumbar cushion made of polyurethane foam laminated with velor knit,
• the orthosis has a removable reinforcement made of pentapro foil lined with velor knit,
• thanks to its construction, the orthosis ensures the stabilization of the hip joint and its controlled movement, compression of soft tissues around the hip and the upper part of the thigh,
