Neurobion 100 mg/50 mg/1 mg

The medicine contains thiamine (vitamin B₁), pyridoxine (vitamin B₆) and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B₁₂) and is intended for use in adults only. It can be used to prevent a decrease in the levels of these vitamins in the body or to treat a deficiency (when the body does not have enough of these vitamins).

Low vitamin B levels₁, B₆ or B₁₂ may occur:

• if the patient does not consume enough foods containing these vitamins;
• if the patient's body is unable to absorb vitamins from food;
• after surgery on the stomach or intestines, which may affect the absorption of nutrients;
• in patients with certain diseases, such as some inflammatory diseases, which can increase the amount of vitamins the body needs;
• in patients with certain diseases, such as kidney disease, which may cause more vitamins to be excreted from the body than normal.
