In order to be able to handle everyday tasks, we consume a certain amount of energy. Each of us sometimes feels a lack of energy and we feel that our body needs additional support and encouragement. This may be due to a lack of magnesium, which is most often felt by athletes, diabetics or people who drink a lot of alcohol. It is manifested by irritability, insomnia, moodiness, indigestion, palpitations or cardiac arrhythmia. It can also cause depression or an asthma attack. Low magnesium in the human body can also manifest itself in muscle cramps, mental imbalances or insomnia. Magnesium deficiency is also reflected in the quality of hair and nails, which break and hair falls out. Daily magnesium requirement as determined by the Organization for Agriculture
and nutrition at the UN and the World Health Organization is about 500 mg / day for breastfeeding women, 300 mg for children and adults. The exact values are, of course, individual and depend on the overall state of health.
