What to use to clean your nose?
Proper upper respiratory hygiene is one of the most important ways to combat colds. Once a rhinitis has occurred, disposable sanitary napkins should always be used.
It is important not to blow both nostrils at the same time, because then the pressure in the nose increases, the mucus (infected with the virus) penetrates the cavities and causes an infection of the ears (causing inflammation). Inhalation (eg water vapor or fume from essential oils) is also suitable, especially for children who are not yet able to blow their nose. When cleaning the upper respiratory tract, preparations containing sea water also help, which can be divided into isotonic solutions (they help to remove mucus) and hypertonic ones (they dilute drowsiness, which is then easier to remove from the nose). A vacuum cleaner can also be used to clean the nose of young children. The nose is very sensitive to external factors that can interfere with its proper function. If our immune system is weakened, we need to fight the enemy and use appropriate drugs.
