Perhaps a somewhat curious cause may be the incorrect posture during emptying in the toilet. In the past, when people did not recognize the current "sedentary" toilets, they performed emptying in a squat, which kept the pelvic muscles in tone and the rectal muscles did not have to exert increased effort when "pushing". It is no coincidence that in some countries you will still find "squat" toilets, such as Bulgaria, Italy or Greece.
