The lozenges contain drugs, dichlorobenzenemethanol and amylmetacresol, which have antiseptic effects and kill bacteria and viruses that cause sore throats and inflammation in the oral cavity.

The lozenges are used to alleviate or topically treat inflammation in the mouth and nasopharynx, in inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis, thrush, aphthae), in gingivitis (gingivitis) and as supportive treatment for sore throat.
