Myfungar cream is used to treat fungal and yeast diseases of the limbs, torso, hair of the head and external genitalia (partners must also be treated to prevent recurrent infection), as well as an adjunct to the treatment of fungal nail disease.
The cream contains the active substance oxiconazole, which inhibits the growth and stops the multiplication of lower fungi (yeasts and molds) and some bacteria.
