FERRUM METALLICUM

HEMATOLOGICAL INDICATIONS:

• Hypochromic anemia, to support conventional treatment to balance iron metabolism.

• Hemosiderosis, whether iatrogenic (transfusion) or as a result of occupational intoxication, to alleviate the secondary effects of iron storage in tissues, especially in the liver.

UROGENITAL INDICATIONS:

• Daily incontinence in anemic children.

• Secondary amenorrhea in young girls with sudden facial blood flow accompanied by increased thyroid activity.

REUMATOLOGICAL INDICATIONS:

• Humero-scapular periarthritis alleviated by slow movement.

• Oxo-femoral nocturnal pain.

CHARACTERISTICS - FEELINGS: Pulsating and throbbing pains (headaches); scalp hyperesthesia; feeling of rectal or uterine prolapse; feeling pulsations, pounding all over the body "like little hammers".

MODALITIES: Cold deterioration after washing with cold water; immobility and rapid movements; at night, especially around midnight; with heavy bleeding or any loss of body fluid. Improvement by slow movement or slow walking; heat (except headaches and toothaches).

ACCOMPANYING FEATURES: Alternation of uncontrolled appetite with anorexia; egg intolerance; resistance to meat.
