ACONITUM NAPELLUS

NEUROLOGICAL INDICATIONS:

• Neuralgia and frigore, especially trigeminal neuralgia, neuralgia of any location that is induced or exacerbated by cold and accompanied by tingling or stiffness.

CARDIOVASCULAR INDICATIONS:

• All cardiovascular manifestations accompanied by agitation, anxiety, fear of imminent death may require Aconitum in the following indications: bouts of hypertension with tachycardia, hard pulse, congestive headache, red and hot face, and the whole symptomatology raises cerebral fears.
• Paroxysmal tachycardia (after rapid cooling or fear).
• An attack of angina pectoris (caused by a sudden cold) with fatal anxiety, tightness of the chest, paresthesias of the left shoulder.
• Arterial haemorrhage with warm shiny red blood.

ACUTE FEBRILE STATUS:

• All acute pyrexia of any origin, as long as the body's response corresponds to the characteristic pathogenetic picture of Aconitum: rhinopharyngitis, sore throat, laryngitis with cough cough ++ (around midnight), green diarrhea with colic after a cold.
• Sunburn, sunburn with red and dry skin (when sweating we prescribe Belladonna).

OTHER INDICATIONS:

• Secondary amenorrhea caused by fear or severe cold.
