Lansinoh Nipple Contact Protector is an effective breastfeeding aid for short-term use where one or more of the following reasons occur:

• your baby's sucking or attachment is affected by the gap between the tongue / climate and the lips, prematurity (premature babies), illness or if the baby is too young,
• your nipples are short, sunken or flat,
• your nipples are painful and / or inflamed,
• in hyperlactation.

Lansinoh nipple contact protector will allow you to continue breastfeeding at the stage of solving the mentioned reasons. The contact guard should only be used for the time necessary to remove the breastfeeding barrier. It is therefore important to focus on eliminating the root cause of the breastfeeding problem. If you notice a reduction in the amount of your breast milk while using the contact protector, using a breast pump may help to increase the production level again.

Warning: The Lansinoh Nipple Contact Protector should be used as directed by a breastfeeding specialist. It is not recommended for long-term use. The contact nipple guard should not be used in the first week after the birth of the baby unless recommended by a breastfeeding specialist, as its use may affect the amount of milk produced.
