Foresto collar for dogs over 8 kg

Cats:
Treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) for 7 to 8 months. The effectiveness against fleas begins immediately after the collar is put on.
It protects the immediate surroundings of the animal from the development of flea larvae for 10 weeks.
Foresto can be used as part of flea allergic dermatitis (FAD) therapy.

The drug has a persistent acaricidal (lethal) effect (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus turanicus) and a repellent (prevents chanteria) effect on ticks (Ixodes ricinus) for 8 months. It works against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks.
The tongs that are on the cat before application do not have to be killed within 48 hours after the collar has been put on and can remain attached and visible. Therefore, when putting on the collar, it is recommended to remove the pliers already present on the cat. The collar will start to protect against attack by new tongs within two days after deployment.

If possible, the collar should be worn before the start of the tick or flea season.
