The preparation contains a high amount of minerals and trace elements originating from crystal clear residual sea water from the Tertiary period.

It helps to maintain the physiological cleaning ability of the nasal mucosa (function of the ciliated epithelium), enables the optimal functioning of the so-called mucosal immunity as a primary defense against infection. It is used to moisten the mucous membrane of the entire nasal cavity and nasopharynx, especially when staying in an environment with low relative air humidity, in areas heated by central heating and in an environment polluted mainly by dust particles. The overall composition of the hypotonic acid containing iodides has a beneficial effect on immunity in the sense of prevention of chronic bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract, chronic rhinitis, sinusitis and chronic polyposis nasopharyngitis. In children, it has a preventive effect against the development of recurrent tracheobronchitis and rhinitis. Application of the product is also suitable for conditions after operations on the tonsils. It is also recommended against the occurrence of dry inflammations of the nasal mucosa and for the prevention of their recurrence. The preparation is safe for long-term use and is not addictive.
