Play along with him.
Place the mirror on the ground. Encourage your child to focus on the image in the mirror. Point to the child's reflection in the mirror and describe what the child sees. Then you can show him your face and have fun together making different funny faces that he will see in the mirror.
Children like to look at people's faces.
When the baby has more developed upper body muscles, place him on the floor on his tummy so he can work on developing hand coordination. Talk to your child about the toys and show them how they work. This will naturally force the baby to raise its head and chest and reach for the toy and grab it. Thanks to all these activities, the child's motor skills will develop and the muscles of the whole body will be strengthened.
