The perfect base oil for aromatherapy.
Natural sweet almond oil is considered one of the basic essential oils used in aromatherapy. Due to the high content of vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D and E and unsaturated fatty acids, it is an excellent basis for aromatherapy and relaxing massage oils.
It is obtained from almond seeds by cold pressing.
The oil is refined, making it almost odorless. This process makes it an essential base for blending with essential oils. It has a light yellow color, is rare and transparent. It is quickly absorbed through the skin. Almond oil is very soft, gentle and does not cause allergies, therefore it is used in the care of the skin of infants and children.
For optimal hydration of baby's skin, add 1 tablespoon of bath oil. Dry your body by gently placing a towel on your body, avoiding rubbing your skin.
Use after bathing and showering.
For the care of very dry skin, with psoriasis, eczema or atopic dermatitis, use the oil after bathing or showering.
Also suitable for tattooed skin.
Massage the oil into the damp skin of the whole body and let it dry. The oil soothes irritations and protects the skin from excessive moisture loss. You can use sweet almond oil to care for tattooed skin. To keep the tattooed part of the body in good condition, apply a thin layer of oil to the skin 1-2 times a day. Thanks to such care, your tattoo will acquire more vivid colors. In the healing process of a fresh tattoo, the oil reduces the itching and tension of the skin.
You can also prepare a soothing olive.
Tattoo care oil:
3 drops of lavender essential oil
2 drops of tea tree oil
50 ml of sweet almond oil
Prepare the olive by mixing all the ingredients.
Seal in an airtight dark glass bottle so that the olive does not lose its properties. Lubricate the washed skin covered with tattoos twice a day. While the tattoo is healing (about 7-14 days after treatment), use 3-5 times a day, covering the skin with a thin layer of olive oil.
Consume within 3 months.
Relaxation massage for two.
Natural sweet almond oil can also be the basis for a relaxing massage for two. Mix the oil with your favorite essential oils in a ratio of 1 drop of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of oil (5 drops of essential oil to 50 ml of oil) and gently massage.
