Ambrobene 60 mg effervescent tablets, 10 effervescent tablets

The medicine contains ambroxol chloride. It belongs to a group of medicines called mucolytics (medicines against coughs and colds) which help clear the airways of mucus. It works by thinning mucus and loosening it, making it easier to cough up.

It is used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age to treat wet (productive) cough in acute and chronic respiratory diseases (e.g. acute inflammation of the larynx, trachea or bronchi, chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
