SEPTOLETES

Hard lozenges contain:

• benzalkonium chloride, which acts as an antiseptic and kills many types of bacteria as well as some yeasts.
• levomenthol and peppermint essential oil, which relieve sore throat and pain when swallowed and make the mouth more pleasant.
• thymol, which has a similar effect to benzalkonium chloride. It also disinfects the oral cavity and thus increases the effectiveness of the drug.
• eucalyptus essential oil, which promotes the secretion of mucus in the upper respiratory tract, thus facilitating respiration.

The lozenges act directly on the causative agents of infections of the oral cavity and throat, prevent the spread of infections and effectively alleviate the difficulties associated with infection and inflammation of the oral cavity and throat. They are used for pain relief and disinfection:

• for mild infections of the oral cavity and throat;
• preventive for flu and colds;
• for inflammation of the gums and mucous membranes of the oral cavity;
• with wheezing and difficulty breathing.
