Vagisan HydroCream

The medical device is intended for application to the vagina and external intimate areas (feeling dry, burning, itching, minor injuries and pain during sexual intercourse, eg in the absence of estrogens during menopause). The 50 g package includes an applicator.
 

A white and emollient cream has been developed for application to the symptoms of vaginal dryness. It does not contain hormones (estrogens) and can therefore be used in conjunction with hormone replacement therapy or alternated with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (estrogens). By adding lactic acid, the hydrocream is adjusted to pH 4,5, which helps maintain the natural pH value in the vagina.
The hydrocream alleviates vaginal dryness problems thanks to two factors:
- The cream contains a high proportion of water, which adds moisture to the skin in the vaginal area and in the outer intimate area.
- Nourishing lipids (fats) keep the skin supple.
 

Regular use of the product can have positive effects in preventing irritation and inflammation of the vagina and external intimate area.
The cream can be used before sexual intercourse when the vagina is dry.
