Acylpyrin belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics (medicines for pain) and antipyretics (medicines to reduce fever). The drug acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) relieves pain and reduces fever. Ascorbic acid in the drug supports the body's defense reactions and accelerates the overcoming of influenza diseases.

Acylpyrin is used to reduce fever and relieve pain in flu and colds. Acylpyrin can also be used to treat mild to moderate pain (e.g., headache, toothache, back pain, menstrual pain, inflammatory pain, muscle pain, and nerve pain).

Acylpyrin can be used by adults and adolescents from 16 years of age without a doctor's recommendation.
Children from 9 years of age and adolescents under 16 years of age should take acetylsalicylic acid only on the advice of a doctor.
