STRATAMED

Stratamed is a modern film-making wound dressing. It is a sterile, semi-occlusive, self-drying transparent gel. Fully contact flexible cover that provides an optimal environment for wound healing and prevention of abnormal scars. After application, it dries and forms a silicone protective layer that is permeable to air, is waterproof, hydrates and protects the affected areas on the skin and open wounds from attack by chemicals and microbes.
It can be applied to fresh cuts, open wounds and damaged skin, even after laser procedures, chemical peeling, dermal abrasion, 1st and 2nd degree burns and superficial burns after irradiation.

For open wounds and damaged skin:

The gel is bacteriostatic and inert. After drying, it creates a thin, inert, bacteriostatic and ibil explicit wound dressing that hydrates and protects the affected area. It helps to create an optimal environment for the healing of superficial wounds and burns. This environment leads to faster reepithelialization, reduced inflammatory response and shortened recovery time after surgery. The gel does not adhere firmly to the base of the wound or to the newly formed granulation tissue. It is a self-drying, non-sticky, transparent silicone gel that gently adheres to the top layer of damaged skin.

For the prevention and treatment of abnormal scars:

The gel is used to soften and thin out protruding scars and allows the scars to normalize the process of collagen synthesis with the subsequent formation of a normal mature scar.

The gel can also be used without a secondary coating. It is ideal for use in unprotected areas such as the face, neck, joints and hairy areas that do not need to be shaved. Relieves itching and discomfort in scars, reduces redness and discoloration typical of scars and damaged skin.

The gel has been developed for use on all types of superficial wounds, burns, lacerations and abrasions, including those resulting from:
surgical and cosmetic procedures:

• injuries,
• burns,
• radiotherapy,
• bites,
• abrasions and rashes,
• laser therapy, including tattoo removal,
• chemical peeling,
• dermal abrasion.
