Eclypse

Absorbent dressing with a significant ability to absorb exudate from the wound. It contains a layer that quickly absorbs fluid. The absorption capacity is provided by a system that is able to bind a large amount of exudate by gel transformation, thus reducing the risk of wound maceration. The top blue layer is a water-resistant barrier that prevents the passage of moisture and thus prolongs the life of the device.

The cover has a system that converts the absorbed fluid 100% into a gel. It can be used under a compression bandage.
The dressing can be left on the wound for up to 7 days, but should be replaced when exudate is visible in the center of the pad or when the pad is bloated from absorbed exudate.

It is intended for medium to strongly exuding wounds such as:

• for pressure sores and ulcers on the legs and forelegs
• for postoperative and disintegrated surgical wounds
• for burns
• on sampling areas
• to fistulas and disintegrating tumors
