Throat lozenges protect the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. They are used to eliminate symptoms such as hoarseness, itching and burning in the throat and dry mucous membranes that lead to a sore throat or a non-productive, dry cough. Limited edition. 

The causes of dry and irritated mucous membranes of the mouth and throat are various and may include:

• excessive strain on the voice,
• difficult breathing through the nose (e.g. due to a cold),
• dry air caused by heating or air conditioning,
• pollen allergy (hay fever),
• smoking.
