Diosmin belongs to a group of substances called bioflavonoids and is used to stabilize small blood vessels (capillaries). The medicine contains a drug that affects the activity of the veins and protects the vein wall; increases vein tone and capillary resistance. It reduces the incidence of swelling and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
It is indicated for adults to treat the signs and symptoms of chronic venous disease, such as pain, heavy legs, tired legs, restlessness in the legs, night cramps, swelling and trophic changes (changes in the skin due to malnutrition and tissue resistance).
