Gaviscon chewable tablets 24 tablets

The chewable tablets contain a combination of two antacids (calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate) and alginate. Chewable tablets are used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux (a disease in which the contents of the stomach return to the esophagus), such as:

• acid regurgitation (returning acid from the stomach to the esophagus),
• heartburn,
• indigestion (related to reflux), for example after eating or during pregnancy,
• or in patients with symptoms related to oesophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus caused by the backflow of stomach contents into the esophagus).
