COCCULUS INDICUS

• Nausea when traveling; if the vagotonic crisis is alleviated by heat or by closing the window in the car (with Tabacum it is alleviated with fresh air), worsens with food (with Petroleum it improves with food), it is caused by great exertion, intensive loading ship, in the course of air vortices in flight).

• Insomnia (if caused by overwork, prolonged wakefulness, emotional worries or irregular sleep).

• Dizziness - if accompanied by headache with nausea (Barré-Liéou syndrome: radicular or vascular irritation in osteoarthritis of the cervical spine)

• Vomiting during pregnancy

• Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation with a tendency to faint, nausea, dizziness and insomnia)

• Localized paresis: weakness of the neck, hip or lower limb muscles

CHARACTERISTICS - FEELINGS: Dizziness with nausea in general severe fatigue; prone to fainting with a feeling of an empty head; localized paresis: weakness of the neck and neck muscles (inability to keep the head raised), weakness of the lumbar muscles, feeling of a broken knee; feeling of limb mining (especially in the upper limbs), sometimes feeling bruised or stiff.

MODALITIES: Deterioration after a sleepless night, during overwork; passive movement (in the car, on the train, on the boat); in sudden movements of the cervical spine (irritation of the end of the VIIIth nerve during the movement of otoliths in the middle ear); noise, emotions; tobacco smoke; cold. Heat improvement; rest.

ACCOMPANYING CHARACTERISTICS: Paleness; hypersalivation; nausea when looking at or smelling food; taste of cold drinks, beer, mustard.
