HydroTac Comfort - hydropol foam wound cover.

HydroTac Comfort is a self-adhesive foam cover impregnated with gel (measuring 15x15 cm) for wound care, the top layer of which consists of a semipermeable polyurethane film. The coating is covered on the wound contact side with a layer of hydrogel composed of a polyurea-polyurethane hybrid polymer which contains water and propylene glycol. Hydrotac comfort is lined with a self-adhesive edge covered with a layer of polyacrylate adhesive (therefore no fixation of the cover is necessary).

Properties and mode of action: HydroTac can both absorb wound secretions and actively hydrate the wound in case of insufficiently moist environment, which is necessary for the healing process. The gel on the side intended for contact with the wound prevents sticking to the defect surface. The HydroTac dressing can be removed from the wound without trauma (without damage and almost painlessly).

The foam hydropolymer coating is suitable for the treatment of mild to moderately secreting wounds during the granulation and epithelialization phases. It has a positive effect on the wound healing process (it binds the secretion released from the wound and provides a moist environment for better healing by hydrating the wound).
